If you cannot ask her, you will need to check her size! Find out her size by checking the labels on her current underwear. We would also recommend you take note of her style and the colours she may wear. If you are not comfortable understanding bra and panty size the easiest option for you would be to check her dress size, this may enable you to choose products such as teddy’s, chemises, babydolls or a nightdress.

The number refers to width band e.g. inches around her upper body and the letter refers to cup size (breast size). In general an A cup is a small breast size, a B cup is bigger, C cup bigger etc.. We currently offer up to an H cup as our largest breast size, however larger cup sizes are in limited collections.

Does she wear thongs, briefs, soft cup bras, push up bras? In what colours, prints, fabrics, frills, lace? Think about it and do some undercover detective work if these are not obvious to you. Check what is available in her underwear drawer or take a mental note when she lets you take a look at what she is wearing. There are variations of bra styles and pantie styles. However, in general just buy her something beautiful.

Good question! We all have our personal taste… If you are buying lingerie for the first time or you don’t know your partner that well, we recommend most items from our nightwear collection and you can find many options that are in a dress size such as small, medium or large. These safe options are also a good choice for a birthday gift, anniversary or special occasion as you do not want to offend your partner by buying something which feels like it is more for your entertainment rather than for her. For more established or longer term relationships, I’d expect you know each other quite well and so you could choose lingerie sets with or without suspenders from our lingerie category or if you are really sure you will not offend your partner there is something a little more spicy in our lingerie category, I would chose items that you have seen her wear before. Alternatively, think about what she would already wear on a daily basis and on a special occasion and use that as your guideline. Avoid something you have never seen her wear or already show an interest in. Avoid the fantasy costume shopping if she has never dressed up for you!

Understandable, we all tend to see our flaws and forget the good points and our comfort levels vary. If you know her good points you can select products that will enhance these and if you know her flaws you can select products that would minimise these when on show. A teddy with a g-string would cover up the belly but enhance the legs. A push up bra would enhance the breasts. Boy shorts (briefs) are also available in cute and sexy varieties for those who are not comfortable with thongs and g-strings. More importantly, it’s also up to you to help her feel comfortable and attractive with her own body shape. If you can accomplish this her lingerie selection could get steamy pretty quick. You’ll have an idea what she is comfortable with by knowing what she already wears.

This can be personal taste and/or depending on skin colour. In general black is sexy and black lace is really sexy and is also a safe choice for first time buyers. However, we need lingerie to suit our clothes, so if we wear a lot of white our selection of lingerie could be to our skin tone. Clothes in light colours can also suit white or pastel colour lingerie. Reds, black and prints can be suitable under darker colour clothes.

Just don’t insist she wears her lingerie as soon as she unwraps it, you do not want to come across as demanding or you bought it for yourself! Give her time to try it on and let it unfold naturally.
